Childrens Playground

The children's playground at George R. Gell Park is dated but fully functional with a teeter-totter, metal spiral slide, animal rocker, swings, child swings, and a metal climber. The kids can play and parents can sit on the benches at the playground's edge. Mature trees provide shade and add to the beauty of this well-established community park. 

Greenspace

George R. Gell Park is close to the Bow River and is a park that offers open green space, so grab a soccer ball, football, or frisbee and enjoy some outdoor fun. The park is pet-friendly and also a great place for a game of fetch with your dog but be sure to clean up after them during your visit.
