Nova Scotia Eco-Camping
Today’s blog jumps ahead of some of the past adventures. Why?
Well it is about the fabulous place I am staying at now in East Gore, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Located on a hilltop with amazing panoramic views of 5 Nova Scotia, counties.
The perfect location, as they are pretty much central to Western Nova Scotia, Canada; 60 minutes to Halifax, 40 minutes to Truro, 1/2 hour to Maitland, 1/2 hour to Windsor.
There is no shortage of day trips to beautiful and exciting places. Golf courses nearby, beaches, tidal bore rafting, birdwatching, beachcombing, historic sites, and more.
Adventurers for all ages.
They go far beyond the call of duty. The other day they even brought over some homemade baked lasagna. What a treat that was, not the usual camping grub, that’s for sure.
They are North America’s first eco airpark and campground.
Which means you can actually fly into the Fundy Shore, Anapolis Valley area and camp out. No need to bring supplies, they have full camping setups available at regular campground prices.
There is a Wild blueberry field, It makes a great morning, when you can pick some fresh blueberries for breakfast, while having the morning coffee. hmmm just love wild blueberries. There is also some orchard trees, which I have yet to visit.
The sunsets are world class, the big skies out here make for great evening fireside chats.
We can’t forget, the 9 hole pitching course they have on site. Hands up Whoever’s short game doesn’t need some practice?
As Eagles Pitch Eco-Camping is a new park, their rates are low to attract new guests, wanting to stay somewhere new.
Come one come all!
