TOP 6 PEDESTRIAN FRIENDLY DOWNTOWNS – BEST of the WEST SERIES

Parking is a pain when exploring some communities. We have all been there… driving around in circles looking for a parking spot in a city we do not know as we move around from one attraction to another. And, once you find a parking spot a parking meter is often begging for money every hour. Ugh!

So much time and energy wasted on parking and driving in circles when all we want to do is park and walk. It so nice when we come across a community where we only have to park once and we can spend the rest of the day walking or biking around the area visiting shops, attractions, trails, entertainment, restaurants and parks.

Here are our TOP 6 favorite “Park and Walk” Pedestrian Friendly Downtowns in Western and Northern Canada. All you need is one good all-day parking spot and some good walking shoes.
