Saskatchewan, Canada Tourism Video
This is a promotional video we here at, ehCanadaTravel.com have put together to promote the beauty and adventures in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Saskatchewan is the “Land of the Living Skies” and “Home to 90,000+ Lakes”.
To fully appreciate Saskatchewan one must venture away from the Trans Canada Highway which bisects the province. It is when one explores away from Hwy #1 that one finds thousands of lakes, sand dunes, parks, historic sites, adventures, rivers and much more.
No river is more popular in the province than the Saskatchewan River. In fact the province was named after the river in 1905. The same river the Cree First Nation people once called kisiskāciwani-sīpiy (“swift flowing river”).
Saskatchewan, Canada covers a total area of 651,900 square kilometres (251,700 sq mi) and a land area of 592,534 square kilometres (228,800 sq mi). Most of the land mass to the north is called the Canadian Shield. It is heavily decorated with lakes, boreal forest and the Athabasca Sand Dunes. To the south are the Interior Plains.
We hope you enjoy our video and come to the understanding that Saskatchewan is a gem in Canada with its own geographical highlights and unending adventures, both summer and winter.

Thank you! We enjoy our time in the province. Saskatchewan has much to offer once you exit Hwy #1. In many ways the highway is the biggest obstacle to tourism in the province.
