Cache Creek Road Trip – Classic Cars, Cowboys and Antiques
Cache Creek Classic Cars, Cowboys and Antiques
My road trip on the Gold Rush Trail.
Cache Creek, BC is a small community located on the Gold Rush Trail in the Thompson-Shuswap Region of British Columbia, Canada. I was fortunate recently to spend some time in the area. Besides the natural beauty of the rolling hills, canyons and the Bonaparte River here are the three biggest impressions left with me after my recent visit to Cache Creek and the surrounding areas of Ashcroft and Clinton BC.
Classic Car Festival
Timing is everything!! On this visit we attended a classic car show referred to as Graffitti Days. It is one of the most popular events held in the community of Cache Creek.
Cowboys and Cowgirls
Western country is alive and well in Cache Creek and Clinton. On the trails and when visiting the rodeo grounds I came face to face with cowboys and cowgirls.
Antiques and History
There is a long history of miners, pioneers and farmers in the region. There are many antique shops in Clinton, a jade rock history in Cache Creek and pioneer architecture in Ashcroft.
Thank you to our host, Sean at Bonaparte Inn, for a wonderful stay and for promoting fun in tourism during our stay in Cache Creek, BC. You were a great host.
