Cascade Falls Regional Park & Suspension Bridge is a 22 hectare forested park located just northeast of Mission, British Columbia, Canada. The highlights of the regional park includes a 30 metre waterfall and a 35 metre long suspension bridge with viewing platforms. The bridge is extended about 20 metres above the river.
Although it is considered a short walk of being only a .75km, it won't disappoint with its beauty. The short trek is suitable for all ages and fitness levels as it only has a 50 metre or so elevation gain. It's worth the trip of getting there!
From the parking lot, follow the well groomed trail that includes a beautifully laid out walkway, wood stairs, paths, viewing platforms and a suspension bridge, where you'll enjoy the majestic view of the falls. The advantage of this trek is that the bridge is close in proximity to the falls. Close enough that the mist will great you when the volumes of water are high.
You can return to the parking lot by continuing on and following a gravel road, but in all honesty, return the exact same way you came and enjoy the forested beauty of this area!
There are picnic tables and pit toilets onsite. The park permits dogs however they must be leashed and please clean up after them if need be.
