The waterfront park is a well developed gravel and boardwalk pathway following the banks of the Fraser River. Sapperton Landing Park stretches from Cumberland Street in the south to the confluence of the Fraser and Brunette Rivers in the north.
The parkland is a thin strip of green space mainly consisting of a 1 kilometre sightseeing pathway. The pathway is very well maintained and includes sightseeing benches, viewpoints, wooden bridges, flower gardens and a picnic shelter.
The pathway is considered an open air pathway with clear views of the Fraser River, Golden Ears Mountains and Mt Baker. Up close and personal one can watch the tug boats, sailboats and sea birds working the Fraser River.
Sapperton Landing Park is a good destination for all ages and fitness levels. It is even a better destination for watching the life and times of the Fraser River.
