Margaret Falls is a, two tier, sightseeing waterfall and hiking destination located in Tappen, BC - just 15 kilometres west of Salmon Arm, BC, Canada. The falls are part of Reinecker Creek.

The falls are seasonally moody. They are thunderous, spitting mist in the air and mustering up winds during the spring run off season. By the end of the summer the falls calm down considerably but still make for great selfies and photos. This is the time to see if you can spot the cave behind the falls.

A short well-maintained walking trail explores a canyon of trees, some standing and some not, while crossing foot bridges before connecting to a viewing deck looking up at the falls. If staying at the falls for some time, you may want to bring a jacket. It can get wet and slippery.

The canyon walk through the forest of the living and not so living deadfall trees makes for good scenery, Some say the scenery is just as good as the falls. They just may have a point. The walking trail is easy going and suitable for children. However, please keep them close away from the river and falls.
