The trail leads to a viewpoint providing you a birdseye view of the lake, waterfront homes and more views of Harper Mountain.

The 1.3 km long trail leading to Gibraltar Rock is all uphill and considered semi-challenging. The trailhead is located at the far end of the day use parking lot. The trail starts uphill slowly and then continues uphill all the way to the viewpoint. It is a slow gradual climb to the peak with some steeper sections. The trail is well marked and very popular, so expect to meet people.

At the peak the views are far reaching and beautiful. There are viewpoints looking west and east over Paul Lake. There are no protective barriers at the viewpoint and the cliff is abrupt and straight down. Please keep kids and pets close.
