Mara Lake is a recreation destination located in the Thompson-Shuswap region of the southern-interior of British Columbia, Canada.  The lake is situated south of the community of Sicamous, BC and north of Vernon, BC.

Mara Lake measures just under 20 square kilometres. The lake is connected by the Sicamous Narrows to Shuswap Lake. Both lakes provide a vast waterway playground for houseboating, boating, kayaking, water skiing, paddle boarding (sup) and fishing. 

Highway 97A (Sicamous-Vernon Highway) travels south along the shoreline of Mara Lake providing great views of the lake and the activities on the lake. There are some pull out rest spots along the route for travelers to stop and enjoy the views. 

Located on the southern shores of Mara Lake is the Mara Provincial Park. It is a popular beach ark on the lake with eacy car access.
