Fat Biking in Merritt
Fat bikes are built for snow and sand. The wide tires, kept at low air pressure, will keep the tires above the grade where as regular mountain bike tires will sink in the snow and sand. Hence why fat biking is great for Merritt winter adventures. Fat biking is considered a great work out during the winter season and it is the preferred choice of many who enjoy mountain biking during the summer months. Our snow and ice season provides fat bikers a great environment to explore our community and the backcountry trails during our winter season.
