Kil-cona Regional Park is one of the largest recreation parks located in the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The green space park measures over 99 hectares (440 acres) and consists of large grass lawns, forests and a network of ponds, wetlands and canals.
Throughout the park are a network of paved and gravel recreation trails which explore the area connecting to various facilities and activities. The trails are popular for hiking, dog walking and jogging in the summer and xc skiing in the winter. The xc ski trails are called the Chris McCubbin's Cross Country Ski Trails which also double as hiking trails in the summer.
Most of the activities, services and amenities are located near the main entrance to the park on Springfield Road. The Harbour View Recreation Complex is the main complex in the park. The complex is perched on the shores of a large pond.
The main pond connects to a large network of wetland areas, ponds and canals. The waterways are ideal for birdwatching and paddle adventures. Near the complex there is a wooden viewing tower, floating wooden docks, pedal boat rentals and a restaurant.
The main activity next to the Harbour View Recreation Complex is the Harbour View Golf Course and driving range.
