Carleton Martello Tower National Historic Site is a building from the War of 1812 sitting on top of a cliff providing views of the city and the harbour below. It is one of eight Martello Towers left in Canada. Today onsite there is a powder magazine, a barracks room, and some informative exhibits in the tower and in the visitor centre.
