Victoria Park was first established in 1880. It is the signature park of the community featuring Joe Howe, and the Waddell waterfalls on the Lepper River. Victoria Park measures over 404 hectares in size and includes over 20 kilometres of recreation trails to explore with the main trails being the Vibert, and Hemlock Trails.
Victoria Park adventures, and activities most enjoyed includes hiking, biking, cycling, jogging, sightseeing, picnicking, waterfalling, xc skiing and snowshoeing.
Because it is the signature park in Truro with the most to offer you while visiting the Nova Scotia community. Plus it is located in the centre of town. Check out the lookout at the top of the 175 step Jacob Ladder.
The more important, some would say only, features, amenities, services located in and around Victoria Park includes information signs, washrooms, picnic pavilion, band shell, pool, sports field, playground, tennis courts, monuments, spray park, picnic gazebo (Holy Well Gazebo), and a wishing well.
