Obatanga Provincial Park is a wilderness recreation and campground park destination located south of the community of White River and north of the community of Wawa in Algoma Country, Ontario, Canada.

The northern Ontario park measures 9,409 hectares (22.2 acres). The park is located in the northern boreal forest region of Ontario and includes wetlands, rivers, creeks and 32 lakes.

The main lakes of the Obatanga Provincial Park include the Bumfield, Cotton, Bogle, Gina, Knife and Obatanga Lakes. Surrounding the lakes are wetlands and forests of jack pine, black spruce, birch, balsam and poplar trees.

The combination of lakes and rivers makes the park an ideal canoe and fishing destination. The boat launch is located near the serviced campgrounds in the park. For multi-day canoe trips there are also 10 wilderness backcountry campsites located in the park.

The park is a popular put-in destination for accessing the Dog River Canoe Route. The 4-5 day paddle route connects the park with Lake Superior. The route is considered challenging with whitewater and portages best suited for the experienced paddler.

While canoeing many seize the opportunity to fish for walleye, pike or perch. While fishing and canoeing there are many opportunities for birding and wildlife sightings. Birds sighted in the park include loons, bald eagles and osprey. Wildlife includes moose, lynx, black bear, red fox, beaver, wolf, and mink.

To explore the park on foot there is a 2.5 kilometre loop trail called the Forest Fire Trail. And... to bike in the park one must explore the 5-7 kilometre Knife Lake Trail. During the winter months the trails are best explored while snowshoeing.

The Obatanga Provincial Park includes 2 serviced campgrounds on Bumfield Lake. The campgrounds have access to a sandy beach and to various services. Services include a comfort station, laundromat, washrooms, playground, boat launch, sani-station & bike, canoe rentals.

Near the campgrounds is a day use picnic area and a park store. The picnic site includes picnic tables and quick access to the sandy beach and playground area fro children.

The park store provides amenities including ice, firewood, gifts, groceries, camping supplies, fishing licenses & park maps.
