Wawa Beach is the main community beach located in the community of Wawa in Algoma Country, Ontario, Canada.
The long sandy beach rests on the shores of Wawa Lake and it is a main feature of the community.
There is a beach house, picnic tables, washrooms, pier, crane exhibit and a floating dock for swimming.
The sandy beach is a popular destination during the summer sunshine months for swimming, sun tanning, picnicking, boating and canoeing.
Located above the beach, at street level, is a paved walking pathway called the Heritage Walkway.
The walkway leads to a lookout overlooking the lake and it connects to Lions Park on the north end of the walkway. Along the pathway are information signs and sightseeing benches.
The beach and walkway are within easy walking distance from the shops, restaurants and services in Wawa.
