Screaming Heads is a popular Tourist attraction in Burks Falls, Ontario, Canada. Located off on it own up Midlothian Road just 9 minutes west of Burks Falls townsite. Nestled in the gorgeous forest and sprawled out across this 310 acre private property. But, visitors are quite welcome to wander the grounds if the gate is open.
Thanks to artist Peter Camani, a retired art teacher, we have this eerie yet amazing place to explore. Open to the public year round, with free admission, or a donation if so inclined. You'll want to give yourself plenty of time here because the concrete displays are scattered all across this large property. If you find the gates closed when you arrive, the grounds are closed for whatever reason. But not to worry, you can see many from the street and viewpoints. There are beautiful ponds and seating areas, as well as a small stage and performance section. There is a Harveat Fest annually in September here. Furthermore, the fall foliage out this way is simply a spectacular display of colours seasonally.
This creepy canadian stop is located in a great location, about 3 hours north of Toronto or an hour from Algonquin Park. Take a day trip to explore the massive almost countless displays at Screaming Heads, then head over to town for a stroll along the river trails. This is a scenic area of the province for a road trip offering various different day-use spots along the way. Find your way to this unique Canadian art display for an unforgettable journey.
