Killarney Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada is a wilderness adventure destination - as well as - a campground located northeast of the community of Killarney.

The 645 square kilometre park measures over 48,500 hectares in size. The park is situated between the Northern Boreal Forest region and the St. Lawrence-Great Lake Lowlands region.

The Killarney Provincial Park is, generally, a wilderness park with over 50+ fresh water lakes surrounded by Jack Pine forests and an over abundance of white quartzite and pink granite rock formations.

The main summer activities and adventures enjoyed throughout Killarney Provincial Park include canoeing, kayaking, developed camping, wilderness camping, swimming, hiking, backpacking, fishing and birding.

There are 6 hiking trails ranging from 2 to 80 km in the Killarney Provincial Park including the Chikanishing (3 km), Cranberry Bog (4 km), Granite Ridge (2 km), Lake of The Woods (3.5 km) and The Crack (6 km) trails... plus the 8-10 day backpacking adventure called the La Cloche Silhouette Trail (80 km loop).

The developed campground in the park provides most of the popular amenities for camping and backcountry adventures including power, showers, flush toilets, a general store and souvenirs.

The campground - called the George Lake Campground - provides access to sandy beaches, trails and a canoe launch. There are campsites for tenting and RV, as well as, yurts available for booking year round.

In the backcountry there are over 180+ wilderness campsites located along the shores of many of the 50+ lakes.

During the winter the attractions in the park include popular winter adventures like snowshoeing, cross country skiing and ice fishing.

Drive : Travel to the community of Killarney, Ontario. From Killarney travel 19 kilometres northeast on Highway #637 towards the park. Follow the signs to the campground or to any of the pull outs areas.
