Victoria Park is a lovely green space right in the downtown core of London, Ontario.
Summertime in this pretty south-western city park brings great festivals such as Sun Fest and Home County Folk Festival. Sunfest is a huge festival with amazing free music, and the Home County Festival in is a London tradition; great craft vendors on site. Both of these exceptional events take place in the park in July.
Winter brings an outdoor skating rink and the Christmas Lights are just magical to see. Be sure not to miss the great New Years Eve celebrations in the park either.
Skating is Open daily 10 am - 10 pm and is FREE for All
Skate rentals are available and skate sharpening too weekdays from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and noon to 10:00 pm on weekends. Cost for rentals is $7.00 and skate sharpening is $6.00.
Skateboarders will enjoy this Skateboard Park and will find installations on the concrete pad in front of the band shell. Popularly referred to as the Ledge Land, this skateboard park is known for:18 inch concrete grind boxes. More advanced skaters like to take advantage of these.
Remeber while you are visiting Victoria Park you are just steps away from Richmond Row which has beautiful shops, fabulous restaurants and great lounges/bars.
