Park Lake- located 56km south-east. Twin Valley Reservoir- located 37 km west. Little Bow- located 64km east.

Stavely Museum. Carmangay is home to a historical archaeological teepee ring site 62 km west. Bar U Ranch is a National Historic Site located 74 km north-east. The town has a full service 15 site RV campground located easily from the highway, but tucked away nicely from any traffic. The campground is 1st come 1st serve and is $30/night. Weekly and monthly rates are available. The campground is located in Centennial Park which is a great place to have lunch using the picnic tables and a nice playground for the kids. The old Stavely Hotel is where you'll find some food, liquor and VLT's. Stavely Restaurant has dine-in, take out or delivery options available. And a new restaurant has popped up in the Stavely Arena! The General Store downtown has just about anything you might need while in town. Near by lakes mentioned above all have campground accommodations as well. Services are limited.
