The 5100 hectare Tunkwa Provincial Park consists of 3 campgrounds, an extensive trail system and two main lakes - Tunkwa and Leighton Lakes. The park is a summer destination for all who enjoy fishing, hiking, boating, canoeing, atving, motor biking, birdwatching, mountain biking and horseback riding

The lake is a very popular destination for many who like lake activities. On the shores of the small lake is a wilderness forestry campground with a day use area, pit toilets and a roof top boat launch. The lake attracts people to the park for the fishing, camping, swimming, picnicking.
Face Lake attracts people who enjoy the outdoors while fishing, camping, canoeing, boating, motor biking, snowmobiling and offroading. The lake is also in the vicinity of the Chuwhels Motorcycle Trail and is part of the Logan Lake Snowmobile Trail System.
