Lanark County is the Maple Syrup capital of Ontario and on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, the Festival of the Maples takes place in Perth, Ontario.
Enjoy a free, fun family day browsing over 70 vendors showcasing everything Maple and cool events!
From 9 am to 4 pm
Entrance to the Festival is on Drummond, Wilson, and Craig St
There is FREE parking and a shuttle at Algonquin College that brings you to Gore Street

Entertainment on the Streets:
King of Swingers
Duke LeBold
Jonathan Cao

Fun events:
Sap-Tapping – timed:
-Team members will work on a standing log, with one member steadying the log, the other drills a hole using brace & bit, hammers in a spile, runs and gets a bucket to hang on the spile.
2. Wood Cookie (Cross Cut Saw Competition) – timed:
-Each two-person team gets a turn at cross-cut sawing an approx. 6 to 8-inch log
-There will be two rounds. The fastest total time (men's and women’s) determine standings.
