PET-A-PALOOZA, Day of the Dog, Victoria BC

A FREE PET FRIENDLY EVENT`! This is the West Coast's largest outdoor pet festival. Bring your dog to sample treats, food, accessories, toys and there will be loads of free swag! This is the social event of the year for dogs and their people!

SAT - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
SUN - 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Get ready for some serious fun for your doggy friends. Here are some of the events:

Pool Party for the Dogs!
A 100-foot pool party for dogs in the middle of the city! There will be pool floaties, a D.J., and refreshments.

Everydog is a Superhero!
Stop by the Pet Store Victoria booth for FREE photos of your dog and choice of cape, mask and wrist bands in front of our wind machine.

Day of the Dog
Every dog has its day, and for canines at The Day of the Dog that phrase could not be more literal. Dogs are celebrated and given flower garlands and offered food as part of the festival.

Yoga with Adoptable Puppies!
The cutest fitness class you'll ever attend! This event has a 100% success rate of puppies finding their "happily ever after". Classes (30 minutes) are only $20 and you can sign up on the Yoga link from the website listed below.

Acana Angels
Find the four sets of wings around the festival grounds. Take a picture in front of one or all four (the more pictures you tag the better the odds are to win). Tag and follow @thedayofthedog and @acanapetfood. The prize is free food and treats for a year from Acana Pet Food!

Peanut Butter Licking Contest
A hilarious snack eating contest to crown the fastest tongue in town!

Foam Party for Dogs!
A 50-foot foam party for dogs! #bestdayever

Brunch for Dogs
A decadent display of treats and a "cereal bar" for dogs
