Kawartha Lakes is a rural county located in Central Ontario. The main communities are Fenelon Falls, Lindsay, Sturgeon Point, Omemee and Woodville. Many of the townships are connected by rivers, lakes and streams. The Trent-Severn Waterway, with 5 locks, passes through the Kawartha Lakes region. They 5 locks are the Bobcaygeon, Lindsay, Fenelon Falls, Rosedale, and Kirkfield.
