Swimmers and sunbathers will both enjoy Christie Lake's 360-metre awesome sandy beach. Please note that the natural swimming areas are not supervised and do not have lifeguards on duty. While visiting Christie Conservation Area be sure to explore the trails that wind for 10 kilometres through serene meadows and towering pine forests. You will also see a wide range of wildlife that make their home in this 336-hectare conservation area. Trails are accessible by foot, snowshoes or cross-country skis, weather permitting.
For bike riders the trails include nearly 5 km of beginner, intermediate and advanced paths, with a clay surface and few rocks. The bike trails run through the south side of Christie Lake, opening up the mostly pine-reforested area to two-wheeled exploration. See Christie Lake while paddling on the lake. Rowboats, canoes and kayaks are available for rent, or bring your own! No gasoline motors are allowed.
