I absolutely love the idea of uncomplicated travel that doesn't require much planning - that is entirely my style, and your ideas are excellent. Hat's off to you for all the gorgeous photos - I'm totally inspired to re-visit Alberta!!

?Andrea Horning
Andrea climbed stairs, chased waterfalls, explored Alberta's stunning Crescent Falls, and continued proving that great storytelling starts with putting boots on the ground. Whether she's uncovering hidden gems or championing small town adventures, Andrea keeps inspiring Canadians to get out there and explore.
?Dr. Sonya Richmond
When it comes to discovering the deeper stories behind a destination, Sonya delivers every time. From sharing Canada's Camino routes to connecting travellers with culture, history, nature, and community, her storytelling reminds us that some journeys are measured in moments, not kilometres.
?Jesseca Perry
Jesseca continues to bring energy, curiosity, and authentic Canadian travel experiences to the community. Through her adventures, podcast conversations, and support of fellow explorers, she keeps encouraging Canadians to see more, do more, and experience more of their own backyard.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Greg Girard Canada has some excellent Camino pilgrimage routes, and many offer a much less crowded, more nature-centered experience than their European counterparts (although we are huge fans of those as well!).

Greg Girard It is a really beautiful hike with incredible scenery that brings to mind the iconic Group of Seven paintings. It feels very different to walk along the base of the giant and the scramble over its toes than to see it across the water. Definitely one of my favourite hikes in Ontario!

This is such an honest and in-depth description of the RVing lifestyle, I am truly impressed. I am also really inspired by your courage to try something different, and your willingness to share the experience. I truly enjoy following the adventures of the Canadian Rubber Tramps!

MoreThe point about “distance” is especially strong—there’s a noticeable difference between content that’s been experienced versus content that’s been assembled. When it’s coming from people actually on the ground, you get the small, specific details that inspire connection with a place instead of making it feel interchangeable. Have you seen examples where communities successfully blend regional support with local storytelling without losing their identity?
