With all the fishing, waterfalls and food, I have no doubt that you would love it up there. There are no hot springs up there, but they have beaches and beautiful lakes that are not glacier fed, so they are so much warmer than in your neck of the woods.

Visiting Silver Star Mountain in the off season sounds dreamy! You get to enjoy all the comforts of your accommodations and are free to explore the mountain on your own. I have skied there a few times over the years and always loved it...now I will add visiting in the off season to my list too!
