Our rig has arrived at the 2026 Ontario Grand Design Rally at Quinte Isles Campark in Cherry Valley, Ontario, and we are slowly turning our campsite into our little home-away-from-home. Set up is definitely still a work in progress — and honestly, we’ll probably keep puttering all weekend between all of the amazing events, activities, and time spent with fellow Grand Design owners.
There’s just something special about rally weekends: great people, shared camping stories, beautiful rigs, and that feeling of kicking off another season of adventures in comfort and style.
Here’s to campfires, community, and a weekend full of glamping memories!Comments (4)-
Sonya Richmond Agreed! We had only five days, but a full summer would be spectacular!

Great article! I have never been snowmobiling either, but feel like it's much more accessible to me now. I remember travelling through this area last spring on my trip from Kingston, Ontario, to Vancouver - neat to read about the adventures that happen just off the highway once the snow falls....

These are great, practical birding tips (and the photos are beautiful!) - thanks for putting these together! I will be sure to share on my socials this spring when the campers are getting back out there. Another family friendly activity for everyone to enjoy.

-
Thomas Worsley - makes for a nice contrast against the blue sky, doesn't it? What, specifically, do you love about old red buildings for photography?

Anja Cahill Good plan - build strength and a tolerance for the heat

Anja Cahill In a group ... more people to accidentally maim? I'm sure it's perfectly safe, and that is a great idea!
