The Urban Trail is an easy-going and level 6.5 kilometre long loop walking route which explores the downtown of Kenora, Ontario and the Harbourfront greenbelt (waterfront) on the shores of Lake of the Woods.
The Urban Trail pathway consists of wood, brick and concrete boardwalk sections, foot bridges, as well as, some of the nearby city side-streets.
The popular pathway visits with parks, monuments, a museum and - at the same time - provides a unique shopping experience visiting with the shops, stores, restaurants and boutiques located in downtown Kenora, Ontario, Canada.
The pathway is an ideal route for sightseeing the community on foot or via bike providing visitors a healthy alternative for discovering the community of Kenora, Ontario.
The Harbourfront greenbelt section of the Urban Trail connects to McLeod Park and Anicinabe Park.
McLeod Park is the most popular sightseeing park in the community located on the waterfront on the shores of Lake of the Woods.
McLeod Park is the location of the community mascot named "Huskie the Muskie", a water fountain referred to as the "Goodwill Geyser" and the historic McMillan Tugboat.
The Kenora Urban Trail is a self guided walking route which connects you to shopping experiences, dining establishments, a museum and to some of the 20+ murals located throughout the downtown.
