Coney Island

Coney Island Beach on The Lake of the Woods is located a few minutes offshore from the community of Kenora in Northwest Ontario, Canada.

The sandy beach is one of the most popular summer beach destinations in the Kenora, Ontario region.

During the summer months the beach and the island are a destination for activities like canoeing, kayaking, swimming, boating, picnicking and sunbathing.

There are canoe and kayak rentals plus boat tours available in Kenora to access the island beach.

A shuttle ferry service also provides transportation to and from Coney Island. The shuttle is based in Kenora and operates from the marina on the waterfront of the community.

Coney Island Beach Park includes hiking trails, day use picnic tables, swimming area, playground, change rooms, a general store, grass lawns and a boat dock.
