Hollinger Park is one of the main urban city parks and outdoor entertainment venues located in the community of Timmins, Ontario, Canada. The community of Timmins is located in the Wilderness Region in northeastern Ontario.
The park is divided into two sections. The north end of the park is a public area with children's playground and water park. The south scetion of the park is a recreational area with baseball and soccer fields.
The public area (north section) of Hollinger Park enjoys large grass lawns, a playground, a clock tower and a day use picnic area with a pavillion.
The pavillion is the site of many outdoor community concerts and events.
The park name comes from Benny Hollinger who discovered gold in the area in 1909.
Some credit Mr. Hollinger with the birth of the mining industry in the Timmins, Ontario region.
