North Fork Wilderness Campground

Camping on the Oldman River and Crowsnest River

The North Fork Campground is located near Pincher Creek Alberta, along the Oldman River in the western part of the province. This Campground is part of the Oldman Dam Recreation area where you can find a few options for camping. 

 North Fork Wilderness Campground Sites

There are a total of 8 unserviced campsites available on a first come first serve system with self-registration at the campground. Fees are $21/night (2023) and campfires are prohibited at the North Fork Campground. Sites are great for tents, trailers, and RVs.

Campground Services 

You will find pit vault toilets and a nice boat launch on site. A wonderful area for fishing and watersports. Being a windy area, use it to your advantage and do some windsurfing! 

Enjoy the beautiful views as the prairies turn to foothills and the mountains appear off in the distance at the North Fork Campground in Pincher Creek Alberta.

The park is open from May 12 to October 2 annually.

How To Get ToNorth Fork Campground Alberta Canada

Located about 10km north of the town of Pincher Creek along HWY 510, on the west side of the river crossing bridge.This campground is found at a fork, where the Crowsnest River meets the Oldman River. Easy to miss from the main road as it's nestled down the hill, you'll find the North Fork sign at the top of the entrance road along HWY 510 just west of the bridge.
