In fact, the rugged island coastline surrounding the Twillingate Islands is a spectacular sight to behold for landscape lovers and ocean kayakers. Yesterday I paddled from the “downtown” area of Twillingate down the coast to Crow Head, near the historic Long Point Lighthouse. Along the way I stopped in and explored little communities such as Back Harbour, Salem’s Cove and Crow Head where I was able to find some sweet treasures while beach-combing. I felt very fortunate and grateful to end a fantastic Saturday with a breathtaking ocean sunset over the wild North Atlantic Ocean. Twillingate Newfoundland is truly a magical coastal travel destination!
