Come catch memories this family day with Alberta's Free Family Fishing Weekend!
Fishing is a great way to connect with some of Alberta’s greatest natural resources - our lakes, rivers, streams, and the fish that live in them. During Family Fishing Weekends, Albertans and visitors are encouraged to give fishing a try on waterbodies with open fishing seasons without having to purchase a sport fishing license. All fishing regulations still apply and fishing in national parks isn't included. Alberta has approximately 130+ stocked waterbodies for anglers young and old to enjoy! The waterbodies are stocked with Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Cutthroat Trout & Tiger Trout. |
