The Annual Victoria Beer Week (VBW) Returns!

Victoria Beer week runs May 5 to May 13, 2023, and will showcase BC craft breweries in unique event settings all across Greater Victoria. With a focus on education and diverse craft beer selection, VBW 2023 will feature over 50 BC craft breweries at fun new events throughout the city.

TICKETS may be purchased for each event from the website. Individual event prices range between $30 to $45, and this does not taxes and service fees.

PLEASE NOTE: This event is 19+ and two pieces of ID are required.

Ticket prices includes beer tokens and event souvenir tasting cups. Food options are available at each event.

Friday, May 5
Lift off
Location: Market Square (560 Johnson St., Victoria BC)
Time: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Kick off Victoria Beer Week at this special launch event where you can be the first to taste at least a dozen new beers from some of BC's best breweries.

Saturday, May 6
Sour Power
Location: Victoria Edelweiss Club (108 Niagara St., Victoria, BC)
Time: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
A 70s themed sour beer disco party. Come to jive, stay for the brewskis.

Wednesday, May 10
Beer & Pizza
Location: Driftwood Brewery (836 Viewfield Rd., Victoria BC)
Time: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Enjoy four custom created pizza slices from Bicycle Pizza, each inspired by and paired perfectly with a craft beer.

Thursday, May 11
Down Unda
Location: The Esquimalt Gorge Park Pavilion (1070 Tillicum Rd., Victoria, BC)
Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Enjoy a cold bevvy with your mates from Down Unda. These brews are known for the unique variety of hops from Australia and New Zealand. SaltChuck Pies will be on site with delicious hot, savoury pies made in the Australian/New Zealand tradition.

Friday, May 12
Dubbel Down
Location: Victoria Public Market (1701 Douglas St., Victoria BC)
Time: 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM
This event will showcase a smorgasbord of Belgian beer styles along with delectable Belgian-inspired cuisine from vendors at the Victoria Public Market.

Fridays at the Station
Friday May 12 to May 23
Location: 720 Station Avenue, Langford BC
Time: 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Fridays at The Station is an ongoing pop-up summer series produced by The Victoria Beer Society and proudly supported by the City of Langford.
This series kicks off during Beer Week with special live music, food trucks and local businesses and art studios. This is a FREE event!

Saturday, May 13
Touchdown!
Location: Victoria Press Building (2621 Douglas St., Victoria, BC)
Time: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
A celebratory culmination of a week well done and an opportunity to rejoice and toast the week of events. Touchdown will recap the fan favourite beers from each event so you can try the best new beers, sours, Belgian brews, New Zealand pils, southern hemisphere hops, and seltzers! A finale event with something for everyone!
