In 1912 Telegraph Cove BC was a one-shack telegraph station the terminus of the line that ran tree to tree from Victoria BC to Campbell River, BC. It then became a fishing cannery. Today, it is an eco-tourist destination with salmon fishing, whale watching, bear watching, kayaking and camping. It even has an R.V. park.
