Doukhobor Discovery Centre

At the Castlegar Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards Gala on June 9th we were honoured and humbled to be recognized by the business community with the Tourism Development Award. In accepting this award we acknowledge the founding members of the Kootenay Doukhobor Historical Society, the past and current board members, the many countless volunteers, and the various staff throughout the Doukhobor Discovery Centre's 47 years of existence - and, of course, the tourists who come to visit us and learn about Doukhobor history.
