Victoria Park is a picnic and activity park which forms part of the North Saskatchewan River Valley park and trail system located in the community of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The park is an adventure and activity destination in the community providing year round opportunities for recreation. .
During the summer months some of the activities enjoyed in the park include picnicking, walking, jogging, biking, horseshoes, water fountains, cricket and baseball.
During the winter months, after the snow has fallen and the temperatures have dropped, Victoria Park is one of the more popular community destinations for tobogganing and ice skating.
The trails running through the park also double as cross country ski routes in the winter months for those exploring along the network of River Valley trails.
Some of the amenities in Victoria Park include a baseball field, a number of picnic sites, a cricket field, an outdoor ice rink, horseshoe pits and washrooms.
Victoria Park is also a location for special events held during the year in the community. The parking lot is paved but small so parking can be limited when the park is in popular demand.
The park is managed by the city park board and it is advised to book a picnic site when planning an outing as sites are popular.
