Lineham Creek Trail - Waterton Lakes National Park

Lineham Trail is a day hike visiting a waterfall located in the Waterton Lakes National Park in the southwest corner of the province of Alberta, Canada.

The Lineman Creek Trail measures 4.2 kilometres one-way and experiences an elevation gain of 350 metres (1148 feet). The trail is considered a moderately easy route with some steep sections running along a single track trail.

The trail follows Lineman Creek most of the way through a forest environment. As the elevation increases the forest thins out and the trail breaks out onto a mountain slope with views of the falls.

Along the route are views back of Cameron Lake near the beginning of the trail and there are views forward of Mount Lineman, the headwall and the waterfall as you approach the end of the route.

At the end of the trail is a cliff (headwall) and the waterfall. Just beyond the cliff are the Liineman Lakes. However access to the lakes is not available as it would require scaling the headwall.

How to Get to Lineham Creek Trail

Travel to the Waterton Townsite in the Waterton Lakes National Park in the southwest corner of the province of Alberta, Canada. From Waterton Avenue (main street) travel Akamina Parkway for 7 kilometres to the Lineman Creek parking lot.
