Lake Annette and Lake Edith are two alpine lakes, situated side by side, located southeast of the community of Jasper, Alberta, Canada in the Jasper National Park. Both the lakes are "kettle lakes" created from the retreat of the ice during the Ice Age.

Photo GalleryThere are easy going - wheelchair and baby stroller friendly - sightseeing trails following the shores of Lake Annette and Lake Edith. The trail circling Lake Annette is a 2.4 kilometre loop trail suited for all ages and fitness levels.

Lake Annette and Lake Edith, near Jasper, Alberta, Canada, each include a day use picnic area with picnic tables, washrooms and a sandy beach. The parking lot for the lakes is located in between the lakes near the playground area. The main day use areas are located near the trailheads and the sandy beach.

The lakes are popular year round destinations in the region for many activities. In the summer months the lakes are popular destinations for walking, biking, swimming, sightseeing, canoeing and picnicking. During the winter months the trails around the lakes become cross country ski trails and the lakes themselves transform into ice skating rinks.

Once you have explored the lakes, back track onto the main road and travel north to the Malign Canyon and Maligne Lake sightseeing and activity destinations.
