Beautiful scenery and wilderness at the Paint Pots in Kootenay National Park, British Columbia.
It is wise to carry Bear Spray with you as this is Grizzly Country and my daughter saw one just a few minutes along the trail.
The mineral-rich ground at the Paint Pots in Kootenay National Park makes for stunning scenery.
Enjoy all the colors on the 1.9 km easy hike and remember to have Bear Spray.

Be sure to have your boots with you at the Paint Pots in Kootenay National Park as the trail can be quite muddy. Some boards help but there isn't enough to keep you dry.
