Educating children on Indigenous culture doesn't have to be complicated. Involve them in the community! On September 30th, National Truth and Reconciliation day Raising Stars Preschool welcomed a special guest into our school to teach us about the culture and indigenous cooking by helping us make some bannock! These mini adventure seekers mixed, added, and baked (with adult supervision, of course) their bannock, enjoyed an indigenous story, and then ate some yummy Bannock!!
