Supporting Local Tourism Episode 15, Swan Lake Nature Reserve

This week on "Supporting Local Tourism" we were invited to visit and film at the Swan Lake Nature Reserve which is located in Vernon BC (Old Kamloops Road) but operated and kept by RDNO (Regional District of North Okanagan).
This hidden gem is largely unknown by visitors as well as locals. Features an easy 1.77 KM loop trail which is mainly level with only 1 hill.
The trail features a lookout which is currently not open but I am hopeful will be open soon, I will return to film at the lookout once it opens! According to the Tourism Vernon Website this reserve "features some of the best bird watching in B.C.".
