Toronto Blue Jays played their home opening game against the Detroit Tigers in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. On April 11th, 2023, the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario was packed with 42,053 fans excited explore the new outfield renovations done to help bring fans closer to the action. Fans were provided with light-up wristbands that lit up throughout the night at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The Toronto Blue Jays did not disappoint the crowd and hit five home runs and won the home opener with a score of nine to three.
