The Richmond Sunflower Festival offers an abundance of dahlias as well as sunflowers. Ride a train or wagon from the parking lot out to the fields. There you will see 20 acres of sunflowers, dahlias and other flowers. 

There is also an area with life sized dinosaurs and some scary roars. 

Come with your camera or cellphone as photo opportunites are many. There are several food vendors on the property as well as a live band and plenty of seating complete with shade umbrellas.
