Dinosaur Lake British Columbia
Dinosaur Lake is Located 7km South of Hudson's Hope off Highway 29 in British Columbia Canada. This gorgeous green lake was created when the Peace Canyon Dam was completed back in 1980. Dinosaur Lake was named for the fossils of dinosaur footprints that were covered when the area was flooded. If traveling the lake by boat keep your eyes open for eagles upstream at the bottom of the WAC Bennett Dam, they are always such an amazing sight to see. Don't forget to bring your fishing rod and try to catch one of the many species of fish that live in the lake!
