Playful Humpback Whale off the Coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Each year between May and September a variety of whales return to the waters of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada to feast on the the plentiful delicacies of our coastline such as herring and mackerel. Humpback whales can be best spotted in Mid-July to August. Whale watching and bird watching boat tours can be found all around the province in season. If you are not interested in going out on the sea you can also catch great whale sightings from on land, especially along the East Coast Trail.
