I'd need giant pockets for all the huge pocket change I had #BIGselfies by. This is a pair of loonies, albeit slightly dirty ones. As with most of the coin locations it was due to the art used on the coin and the home town of the artist.

I love telling non Canadians that I have been to Moose Jaw. They just love the very Canadian name, which interestingly seems to be a mispronunciation of the Cree word Moose Gaw meaning place of warm breezes. In fairness there is a second theory that when you look at a map the river looks a little like a moose jaw bone, this though is much less interesting and i think seems less likely as well.
That there is Mac the moose of course and at the time i took this photo he was the biggest moose in the world, since then a larger offering has been creating in Scandinavia though
