Toronto, Ontario's must-visit attraction is the one and only C.N.E.
This is Canada’s biggest annual fair and dates back almost 150 years.

Let's Go To The EX !!!
The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is Canada’s largest annual community event. Taking place over the 18 days leading up to and including Labour Day, the CNE offers a wide variety of entertainment and events including Bandshell concerts, celebrity chef demonstrations, aerial acrobatics, an ice skating show, a dog show, a working farm, parades, and a three-day Air Show, all of which are FREE with admission to the CNE. Midway rides and games, wacky fair food as well as international food, and shopping are also popular highlights of this major Toronto event. Over the course of its 18-day run, the CNE attracts more than 1.5 million people each year.

      The C.N.E. is definitely one of Toronto's most popular summer events. The wacky food fair is for sure something to witness!

      I remember as a kid asking all our neighbors if l could have their Toronto Telegram newspapers to cut out TellySo many great memories of the C.N.E.
      I remember as a kid asking all our neighbors if l could have their Toronto Telegram newspapers to cut out Telly Dollars redeemable on the Midway for rides. I would collect so many Telly Dollars l could ride on everything on the Midway for FREE all day long.
      All the amazing samples in the Food Building and always leaving there full. Great concerts at the Grandstand...Michael Jackson & The Jackson 5, Donny Osmond, The Beach Boys, Tina Turner, David Bowie and so many more. Seeing Lassie from the TV show and going in the Agricultural Building to see Borden's Elsie the Cow was a must see every year too.
      My favorite rides were the Roller Coaster and The Wild Mouse and my absolute favorite treat was the giant fresh, warm Waffles with Vanilla Ice Cream!
      A tradition every summer for my family when l was growing up and l am glad some of my kids got to experience The Ex too. A lot has changed over the years but it is still a wonderful event to attend.        More ...
