Wakamow Valley Authority in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan invites you to take a walk through The Valley of Lights from Dec 4 to Jan 7th from 6 to 9 pm.
Love Christmas Carols? The Moose Jaw Community Choir will be performing on Thursday, December 15 at 7 pm.

This is the second annual Vancouver International Black Film Festival (VIBFF), the inaugural event was held virtually last year in Vancouver, British Columbia. VIBFF is affiliated with the Black Film Festivals held in Montreal, Toronto, Halifax, Ottawa and Calgary. This year will also have a virtual option, but as well, there is hint on the website of venues being explored, and this is exciting!

Last year the all-access pass was $39 to see all films online. Festival passes are available from the website and the access link and viewing platform are sent along with the festival pass upon payment. The films can be viewed from anywhere in Canada.

Additionally, there are lots of opportunities to contribute, volunteer, submit a film, and get involved!

One of this year's films, "Being Black in Halifax" is the winner of best direction in a documentary series won at the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards as part of Fabienne Colas Foundation's Being Black in Canada Program.

In 1996, the Airdrie Festival of Lights began with a group of local residents committed to putting Airdrie on the map. That group grew over the years to become the Airdrie Festival of Lights Society (AFOLS), which has continued to operate the Festival.

The Lions Festival of Lights in Confederation Park, Calgary, Alberta is in its 35th year of displaying thousands of twinkling Christmas lights that will delight young & old.
You can drive by the park and see the lights but a walk is recommended to take in all the displays.
This outstanding display of Christmas Cheer is located in Confederation Park and can be viewed along 14 St NW, North of 24 Avenue.
The park is also a favorite of locals for tobogganing so bring yours along!

The Niagara Falls Christmas Market will run from November 12 – December 18 every Friday (5-10), Saturday (1-10), and Sunday (12-4).

On November 12th, 2022, The Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade will kick off the first night of the Christmas Market. The parade will begin at 4:00 pm at Victoria Ave and Armoury Street.
